LA PRODUCTION
Our production tools are specialized in large timber sawing. We can process all types of hardwood and softwood species.
Historically, the company specialized in oak sawing for parquet flooring. Our production line is composed as follows:
- A 10-hectare log yard with irrigation infrastructure
- A 150m cutting deck with BZH crane and debarking line
- A sawing line with a 180 ribbon saw carriage equipped with a slabber for lengths up to 6m
- A wood processing line with an edger, Grecon, and Cobra for the production of square-edged timber
- 3 drying cells with a capacity of 60 m³
OUR MULTIGENERATIONAL TEAM
NS Gerbois benefits from the richness of a multigenerational team of 10 people. Each member continuously passes on and learns to consolidate and advance the sawmill.
Thanks to the mix of generations, our team consists of true experts, some of whom have spent their entire careers with the company. This transfer of knowledge constitutes a unique know-how that our new recruits combine with their expertise in new technologies.
